The American Council for International Education in Bulgaria has announced the application for a foster family of a student from the USA. They are looking for volunteer families who would accept a student between the ages of 17 and 19 in their home. The idea is for the teenager to live in a Bulgarian home during the school year 2021/2022 and to attend a Bulgarian school.
The Mission of the Children’s Society Foundation is related to providing advocacy for children's rights and providing innovative social services. The foundation employs experts in psychological counseling and communications voluntarily.
The Children’s Society Foundation was founded in 2015. In 2021 we implement the program "Social Innovators" as one of many accepting organizations, awarded by the Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law with a term of implementation 31 August 2021. The Foundation prepares two mentors to provide training, through the form of an internship, to two students from universities in 4 or 5 courses. The Foundation shall provide a certificate of traineeship and a jointly agreed training program related to the needs of the students in their training.
In connection with the remote form of training and work, it is permissible to conduct the internship online for students who are based outside Sofia.
By July, 5th 2021, applications for participation shall be accepted for an internship lasting 80 hours, allocated in working hours, according to the possibilities of the students and conducted no later than August 2021.
